6.- LITERARY EVENTS

The Tigre Juan Literary Award is celebrated annualy in Oviedo. It was first awarded in the year 1978, being its first winner Jose L. Mediavilla for her book “Jonás”. From then on, such well-known much-acknowledged writers as Carmen Gomez Ojea, Luis Sepúlveda, Belén Gopegui o Vicente Gallego have been awarded.
