The second stage, to be undertaken entirely
at the Council’s expenses, will
complement those covered by the Plan
for the Tourist Excellence in Oviedo.
This stage comprises works which, together
with those carried out during the first
stage must ensure that the Theatre will “re-open” in
a perfect condition.
The main works to be carried out now
are: the renewal of the dressing rooms,
an inner lift, boxes and front boxes
will be built, management offices, renewal,
conditioning and enhancement of the stage,
better down- and upload areas, renewal
of toilettes and whole replacement of
ground seats. The budget for this second
stage has been set at 541.098 Euros.
This second stage will create offices
for the Philharmonic Society, whose house
will remain in the Theatre.
